they are a brilliant tool for cutting into confined areas and also flat to a surface that can can also sand so dont think useless toolOk so I take it they are rubbish Sanders but are they useful for other stuff? I am going to fit laminate soon which will be higher than previous stuff i had

I didn't know that. I guess I can buy these for multi tool or sander in screwfix. ThxsMasonry requires specialist sanding pads.
The cheaper ones are silicon carbide.
The more expensive ones are diamond.
