Hi, can the experienced plumbers on here tell me whether this is a 1.5inch or 2inch siphon? The toilet isn't flushing as the diaphragm has gone sadly it's on a siphon I can't get out without taking the cistern off.

Thanks a measurement I can't get till I take the cistern off then.
1 1/2Not really but I'd guess 1½". As above though quite a few fit both sizes, this for example https://www.screwfix.com/p/viva-button-handle-dual-flush-valve/6998h
Thanks I was going to go with the traditional style siphon. Should it fit the toilet would be from the 80s at a guess.
If you are referring to the link you posted ,that's not a siphon ,nor do they give a better flush ,and they are far less reliable than a traditional siphon ,and don't last anywhere near as long.I would do as I suggested earlier. If you are stripping the whole thing apart then fit a new syphon. The new ones will fit your cistern and are a better flush anyway.
