Surely not if you have booked a slot?Whilst it is true there's no laws regarding set distance for an MOT they can nick you for driving an unroadworthy vehicle.

Surely not if you have booked a slot?
Even if you have reserved a slot, it has to be roadworthy. The MOT just confirms it was roadworthy, fit to pass the test, at the time and date it is presented - if it passes.
That's right it has to be trailered away. And if it fails, and is classed as dangerous, you can't drive at all until repairs have taken place.

It's guidance on how to keep within the law, not a guide to think up clever ways to dodge it.Regulations are the law, not "the guide".

From the guide
"Exercising
You should minimise time spent outside your home, but you can leave your home to exercise. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area."
Minimise by not traveling five miles before your exercise, and your local area means not traveling five miles to a reservoir that is not where you live.
It's guidance on how to keep within the law, not a guide to think up clever ways to dodge it.
I would suggest the fact that the reservoir was significantly void of people would suggest that the guide was clear for a large part of the population who lived five miles away, or nearer or further.
It's guidance for the cognitively challenged on how to keep within the law. That's guidance not law, dumbass

Useful for blond bimbos and forum dumbos alike.
There in black and white. It really could not be any simpler, even the letters are not joined.
