Since the thread has now been locked, can I ask admin that the the advice that a WB CDI can have the case DIY removed to replace the mechanical clock be removed please. That is not safe advice.
As far as the WB Greenstar 28i junior, which @johnny2007 posted a picture of, it should have a case seal, as the external case forms the room seal when the 4 screws, 2 top and 2 bottom are tightened. The seal on that model of junior is found on the boiler itself and not the case. If you look at the vid below @ 1:58 secs when the external case is removed you will see the black case seal all the way around the upper square combustion space that holds the fan/HEX. There's a better view @ 2:30.
If your boiler doesn't have that seal and it is the same (looking at the GC number it should be)then your boiler has the potential to be dangerous. The HEX's on these are known to be troublesome too and can leak, making the case seal even more important.
