One wonders whether 'baroness' mone will be treated in the same way?

Oh but that's right, members of the house of lords can take a 'leave of absence' to allow time for their corruption/fraud/theft to be swept under the carpet!

Take his house away.

He won’t lose his house. He's been given the choice of paying £250k within the next couple of months or having two years added onto his eight year sentence. He'll take the two years. They should have taken it under the proceeds of crime.

His family are more than likely in a council house already.

He can live there and get a good honest job.

What do you call work?

I suspect they cannot directly link the purchase of the house to the proceeds of his crime. Additionally, there may be someone else with an interest living there.
