I've never been a fan of yours John, we both know that, politically we're diametrically opposed and I question your bias as a moderator.

But, credit where credits due, your s**t hot on the gender crap. (y)

Do you seriously not know what "sex" is?

Or are you just pretending?
Making pointless allegations is a desparate tactic.

Sex is a legal label allocated to children at birth based on the appearance of their genitalia.
Sometimes it isn't possible to determine without doubt the actual sex of the baby, so best guesses have to do. And sometimes mistakes are made.
For sure there are biological differences between human males and females. But being a woman (or a man) is not simply about biological differences or the visible genitalia.

UK birth certificates do not record Gender.
Another cheap shot.
My comment was directed at JP, and we were discussing genders.
My comment was refuting JP's point that intersex can be recorded on a birth certificate at birth.
It can't because an intersex label does not exist for recording on birth certificates. UK law does not recognise "intersex" or "non-binary" as an allowable label on birth certificates.

Wrong.

However, I do know the difference between "sex" and what you call "gender."

One is a fact, and one is a whim, or a belief, or a feeling, or a desire, or a choice.

You can change a whim.

You can't change a fact.
Sex is what is recorded on your birth certificate. it is based on the apparent biological attributes of the baby.
It's not always accurately applied.

Gender is the preferred social and cultural role that someone wants to live their life.

And being a woman (or a man) is not simply about the biological reproductive capability.

Therefore gender does not have to conform to the "sex" label applied at birth, based on the apparent biological attributes.

Show me the paragraph that says a person is legally trans if they are a man who says the magic words "I am a woman."
You earlier asked me to show you where it says that a man can be considered as a woman by simply declaring it.
It is specifically referred to if or when someone wants to apply for a GRC:
"You can apply if you meet all of the following requirements:
  • you’re aged 18 or over
  • you’ve been diagnosed with gender dysphoria in the UK
  • you’ve been living in your affirmed gender for at least 2 years
  • you intend to live in this gender for the rest of your life"

The law recognises a man as a woman, who has been living as a woman without any gender affriming surgery, without any medical treatment, and without any changes to any legal documents for at least 2 years. It's a pre-requisite for applying for a GRC.

What a load of ****.
If you want to be consiered as making reasonable intelligent contributions, then you need to make some reasonable intelligent contributions.
Otherwise you're like someone trying to swat flies with a piece of string - utterly pointless and waste of resources.

I’ll post whatever I like thank you! You waffle absolute nonsense, John D has made you look ridiculous.

Posters including myself have stated that. And I largely don’t care for John’s views. So that should tell you all you need to know about your relevance.

I’ll post whatever I like thank you! ...
That's fine but don't expect me (or anyone else that thinks your comments are pointless) to waste their resources responding to your comments.

Speak for yourself.

I don’t post for you to respond, In fact I’d rather you didn’t. I’m just pointing out like other posters that your posts are like the rambling of a mad man.

John D has made you look daft. Learn when to quit.

You earlier asked me to show you where it says that a man can be considered as a woman by simply declaring it.

So that's a "no" then.

You somehow failed to notice the word "all" in the text you quoted.

Very careless of you

Unless your intention was to mislead.

If you want to be considered as making reasonable intelligent contributions, then you need to make some reasonable intelligent contributions.

Clearly no chance of that from you.

What exactly is the point of this thread, other than to see which of two posters can go the longest? The law recognises trans people, end of. The rest is opinion, which, like an arsehole, everyone has, but we needn't see it thanks.
