That's what it looked like to me after the beer and curry party - you know the one where AR wasn't there but then was there, a bit like her current house issues.

I will defend it with the full force of my legal team or words to that effect. the lockdown laws were full of holes and never intended to be used for anything other than on the spot fines for trouble makers.

You make the mistake of thinking I am defending the cake - I care nought for any of them.
The mear act of starmer saying he will resign if the police found fault meant the plod had no choice to to let it go otherwise they would look like they were interfering in an election period. If he was going to fall on his sword then he should of kept his mouth shut and done it after the police came up with their findings. He actually played a blinder with that move.

She bought in 2007, clawback ended 2102, she sold 2015. I doubt hmrc check with the Council when a rtb owner sells their property, or that the Council, has the power to provide that information. So I can't see cgt as being the motive for keeping her name on the electoral role. She simply regarded it as her house, possibly misguidedly given the deeming provisions on prr where no election is made.
Presumably, each year AR was sent a Household Enquiry form, to check who was registered to vote at the house she owned. At the end there is a declaration. Whether she has committed an electoral offence will probably depend on the meaning of this form. This is the best I can find, although it is slightly blurry. It doesn't ask whether it is your only or main home, which might be important.

Pressure or not, if there is a case, then the police and authorities are under oath to bring the case to justice.
I am sure no Tories have ever not wanted a case investigating, and they are in power so will be able to put more pressure on than a leader of the opposition.
But politicians gamble on the ignorant part of the electorate to obsess about things they suggest are causing their problems rather than the real causes...
Get the racists/xenophobes to vote for brexit because they don't like foreigners, and then the immigration level almost doubles...
And put so much energy into a doomed to fail 'Rwanda policy' in an attempt to divert attention from massive failures such as the PPE/'virus' scandal that has cost tens of billions of pounds...
But then 'divide and rule' has always worked when enough of the electorate is dumbed down!
