Hi all
Probably a dumb question so bear with me….
Is it possible to use push-fit joints on painted copper pipes? Or Am I better off using compression joints?
I want to change my bathroom sink and taps, and the pipe going up to the taps has gloss paint on it.
I want to avoid changing the whole pipe if possible
I intend to cut a few inches of this pipe below the sink, and use a flexible connection to connect to the taps. The flexible connection would be push-fit or compression type… obviously I'd prefer using push fit if that's possible
Many thanks
