MY vented CH system comprises a Potterton Prima 50 boiler, CP53 pump and all rad's fitted with a TRV except for a bathroom radiator which is fitted with 2 lockshield valves ( I believe this to be a by pass arrangement ). All the TRV'S are on the left hand side of all the rad's except for one downstairs radiator. This was fitted at my request to the house builder so I could control the temperature.
1. Could the system have been designed to require another rad as a by pass so the TRV should not have been fitted ?
2. Could the TRV create a problem as it not in the correct line of flow ?
I have always experienced air problems with this system.
