Here you've got 2 concentric flues joined together by some metallic flue liner. Notice the dots on the lower flue? Those are holes drilled into the flue to allow a bit more ventilation in to the loft!!! The whole lot was condemned and ripped out. (Photo taken by Gary). Goes to show you that if the operation of a boiler is not right check the loft space!
