Hi all, Ferroli Modena 102, have to keep topping up pressure after CH been on for a while, have noticed water coming out of PRV. If i ask for HW while CH is on, pressure goes straight to zero. Any ideas.

Rob, you mention the pump could be causing the problem, can you explain, thanks. I am not sure if the pump runs when the hot water is on, I can't remember it running when i was there, i will ask him to check.

Thanks Guys, the repair guy can't come out till next week now so i will pass info on. Chris, regarding the CH, yes it does work but as he says, the day after he has had it on, the pressure drops to 0 and he finds a pool of water outside underneath his PRV pipe. Answer to your next question...

A friend has a Halstead Quattro Gold and about a year ago it started to lockout on the DHW side after the tap had been on for a while. He would reset the boiler but it kept locking out so he taped over the reset button which has been taped up for few months. The past six weeks has now seen him...
