    If the flashing is in such bad condition you may want to think about a lead strip. Have to say very shabby job. I would seek advice from a local roofer before taking any further action. You may be best to rip it off and start a fresh to be honest. Andy

    Dave you got any ideas then mate. And the engineer was out for an anual service not to fix the problem with the pilot going out. He was called out again to try and figure out why it wouldn't stay on. Or are we going for its f**ked.
