I have a Gledhil pulsacoil Class A heating system in my flat.
I need to drain the system to do some plumbing work, when I fill it back up I wanted to put in some scale inhibitor in....
What I wanted to check is if it is okay to use Scale Inhibitor liquids in pulsacoil class A system...
Thanks everyone.
I'm keen to learn! I think I finally have it
I had it all backwards - i thought the 4 core carried the mains power and that switches had L1 as say live and L2 as say neutral.
Basically, the lights are connected in a loop to and from the mains supply. The switches...
Hi thanks to you all for the input so far! keep it coming.
Back to the original problem: The garage has two 100w bulbs and two single switches. Operating either switch turns on/off both switches.
Looking at the far end switch - two gray cables are used. The first is a flat dark gray 4 core...
Thanks ElectricDunc,
I understood most of it. Could you elaborate on the first sentence abit.
Looking at the existing arrangement - there is a 4 core cable and a 3 core cable (from the existing lights). Can I not use one of these neutrals as they all enter into the switch socket.
Hi,
In my garage i have 2 standard light bulbs and two standard 1 gang 2 way switches. The switches are located at each end of the garage. Each switch operates both the lights; turning them on and off.
I now want to alter this arrangement by: Adding a new external garage light and connect...
Firstly, this is a forum for help regarding DIY issues - is it not.

If it is a blocked pipe- can a magnet be trick be used to find / confirm the issue - read...
Hi I'm cold. My heating has packed in and I'm not sure what the issue is.
A few days ago - I incorrectly bled the downstairs radiators. Whilst I thought I was bleeding them - I was in-fact emptying them!
So okay, I emptied 4 radiators which were full of balck oxide crap.
Anyway ... the...
No the oven timer is not set. (athough - it sounds silly, this did actually catch us out a few years back when one of our kids started to grab and set the timer to random times.)
Thanks for the caremart number. I shall give them a ring.
The main oven in my cooker does not work. I'm suspecting its the main electric element. Is this item an easy thing to fix ?
The manufacture was: Bernstein
Other Info availble: Mod: FIN7CIH and Cod: FIN7CIH4DMU
