The main oven in my cooker does not work. I'm suspecting its the main electric element. Is this item an easy thing to fix ?

The manufacture was: Bernstein
Other Info availble: Mod: FIN7CIH and Cod: FIN7CIH4DMU

It is a dual oven - 5 ring gas burners, electric dual ovens. Smaller and a larger one. The small oven is unaffected.

As I understand it the grill in the main oven still works. It was installed about 5 years ago and I got no information on the product as it was a fitted appliance when I bought the house. One - other thing, the oven (main oven) always got hot (externally) to the touch. Too hot to touch on or near the main oven door. Is this normal, when operating the oven?

My question is: 1) It is eaily replaceable, 2). From where can I get spare parts, 3). Would a similar one to the orignal work just as well ?

Any help greatly appreciated

No the oven timer is not set. (athough - it sounds silly, this did actually catch us out a few years back when one of our kids started to grab and set the timer to random times.)

Thanks for the caremart number. I shall give them a ring.

I rang caremark and was able to order a spare part. Cost approx 40 GBP. (now just hoping I can fit it !)
