Hotpoint fridge freezer RFA52 Ice Diamond
had this fridge freezer for about 18 months - it went off on friday. turns out the freezer was very icy at the back - must have been due a defrost and forced a shut down?
anyway - defrosted it friday night - turned it...
right, borrowed a multi meter today - will have a bash tonight. i'll check the voltage readings of the 2 offending sockets and also check the continuity.
Having some problems with the electrics in my house. I have 2 single sockets (either end of a wall) in a bedroom upstairs and they occasionally have a power cut. I know this because both of the alarm clocks reset. I’m not 100% sure if this is happening elsewhere upstairs, but I know it isn’t...
going to redecorate the living room (just emulsion) but the walls are currently covered with textured paint.
is there an easy way to remove the textured surface? or is it just a case of taking a scraper to it?

I have a conventional heating system, with a (old looking) boiler in a cupboard downstairs, and a big copper tank up in the loft. Problem that i have is once the central heatings been on a few hours (so the systems been nice and hot for a while) the system starts to make crazy loud banging...
