    Removing very tight stripped screws

Hi everyone, Been trying to remove two damaged screws/stripped screws from some wooden furniture (see photos below). As you can see, they are very badly damaged and rounded screws. Tried a number of things that I had read about- using an extractor drill bit, also the grabit extractor set, using...

Fixing a dripping kitchen mixer tap

Ok. that's the only screw I can see. The only option I can see would be to slide the cap off, near where the arrow is pointing, but as I said the gap for this is very narrow. And a knife/flat screwdriver doesn't seem to work. And ideas what tool might work for this?

    Cracks on external walls

Looking to buy a house (1930s semi) and found the below cracks on the rear external walls- one from the bathroom and one from the 2nd bedroom. Not sure if there are corresponding cracks inside due to wallpaper and tiles on those walls, but should we be concerned about this size of cracks on the...

    Diagonal crack under bay window

Hello, We are first time buyers and have just had an offer accepted on a 1930s terraced house. When we went back for a second viewing, we noticed a couple of cracks. See the photos below. The diagonal crack is below the bay window in the small front bedroom. The second crack is from the...
