Hi all,
Just a quick question in regards to a survey that we had done on a property we are purchasing.
The report recommended urgently attending to an issue with the roof structure, relating to the party wall. They wrote the following: 'Small gaps in the party wall between the subject property and its neighbour should be filled with fire resistant material so as to ensure the fire integrity of the said wall'.
Is this a big/expensive problem? Or anything to worry about? Or just health and safety talk?
They also recommended that some boards be 'fixed in position'.
Thanks.
