I want to fit a scale inhibitor as my boiler has scale building up in the plate heat exchanger, i was thinking of the sentinel combiguard, would you plumbers out there say this is a good system or do you have any other tried and tested ideas. :)

BG have had vailant out 3 times, first one gave up, second (i believe was a manager) done the job, lasted 4 months and third said i had to many old rads ( all rads are less than 4 years old). system is virtually new, copper rads etc, magnaclen inline and have had power flush 3 times (my cost)...

could not agree more, the only thing is that when the boiler was installed i had all the rads new and from the boiler to the rads i replaced the copper pipe as it needed sorting out, then had it flushed so i'm a tad confused as to where the problem is situated, magnaclean is allways fairly clear :o

can i join in :D i'm getting an E6 water pump out error, is there a reset for this, the pump is humming but i have no idea if the impeller is spinning, also where is the pump situated ie do i go through the bottom to get to it etc
