Thanks for your suggestion, however it seems from reading the manual that the soak test is for only 14 days howeve I surpose I could reset it after that time to see if I can pick up the fault. My quantery is that this zone covers what I consider to be the most vulnerable potential entry point...
Thanks for your suggestion. Problem is that as the fault only happens at an interval of several weeks and I go away in a few days time I do not have time to test this out<BG> I've now set the alarm to run for only ten minutes rather than 20 and as we are very rural I hope this does not upset...
Thanks everyone for your postings.
My only reason, as you no doubt realize for opening and closing the window was simply to test if I had the double knock set correctly. In the event the system triggered as soon as the window was opened, whereas I had anticipated that I would have needed...
Guys I need a bit of assistance please. I have a zone that every few weeks triggers the alarm and I want to try setting double knock on it. I thought that I had done this correctly but opening a window on this zone still triggers a full alarm. I thought that I would need to open and close...
I've run some tape over the shaft and pushed the coupling back on and I feel confident this will now work until I can find a replacement coupling.

Boiler has been running smoothly at the right pressure for over half an hour so I think I can safely say that the problem is solved...

Thanks, yes I have tried them but they are the same here as The Plumb Centre <G> They cannot do anything until Monday when they will contact Danfoss. I think as an emergency solution I will try putting back the present coupling with 10 sec glue in the hope that it will give enough grip on the...
Thanks for that. I rang my local Plumb Centre but they do not carry the Danfoss connectors and have to wait to contact Danfoss to get a part number. Strange as I understood that these parts quite often need to be replaced.

Thanks Daniel
The spindle rod is about 25mm long and about 8mm dia. The actual plastic coupling is 20mm long. The Danfoss BFP 11 R3 pump is fitted to a Eco Flam Minor 1 HEB 40/60 burner unit and this is fitted to a Thermecon boiler.

Thanks John
They appear to have the part but their P+P of six quid makes this £1.40 part rather costly. Hopefully someone can suggest a more cost effective supplier<G>

Guys I need to replace the drive coupling (sleeve) on the above pump but cannot locate a supplier. I would appreciate a lead to where I can get one. BTW I'm near Abergavenny
Many thanks in anticipation<G>

Many thanks. I'm hoping to get to it later today. Every time this false alarm happens there is never a problem resetting it and I have tried thunping the door when set and it holds fine. When I open the door when set I have to open it quite a bit before it triggers so I think the magnet is...
