    Potterton Performa 28 problem

    Flame failure light is the one that is flashing. It was serviced 18 mths ago.Anything involving gas will of course be tackled by a CORGI. Just wondered if anyone had experienced the same problem.Thank you for your very prompt replies.

    Performa 28 Located in garage. Intermitant fault,just started happening as weather is getting colder. Get up in morning no hot water,check boiler ,red light flashing,no problem re-setting and usually ok all day.Sometimes goes off in evening but rarely.Next morning same again.Anyone any ideas...

    Thank you AGILE. it was a sticking gas valve which i got repaired by a very good Corgi engineer.Thanks to everyone else who contributed positively

    Cent/heating & H/W or H/W selected at boiler.First thing in morning no hot water,30o light flashing,lock out.Leave tap running.turn switch to re-set,sometimes it fires first time,usually 3 or 4 times to get it going.temp. L.E.D's light up to 70o no problem.Switch off tap and L.E.D's start going...
