Hi All, I've taken ownership of a single concrete sectional garage which I intend to use as a workshop. Only problem is that I only have the back 2 corners and all the concrete panels, i'm missing the front section. The front part was originally made up of 2 vertical concrete posts and 1...
Hi, l have searched google, i'm not too lazy to ask first and look after! What l really want to know is where is best to get 3mm granite chips as no builders merchant round here (Wiltshire) has anything that small. My Girlfriends Dad works in a quarry and he has no idea either.
Thanks
Fired Earth used to be made by Kalon who make Leyland paints. That was a few years back but it should say on the back of the tin somewhere. Not bad paint, l prefer it to F & B to use.
Hi All. Does anyone know the best place to get 3mm granite chippings to use with self levelling, I cant find them anywhere. Any other alternatives would be helpful too.
Cheers
Sorry, what l meant was do the fibreboards smooth the floor out well? Not too worried about the height issue but l didn't know how forgiving they are on a floor thats not that level ie (on the other areas of floor).
Hi there, just wondering if anyone can advise me on the best solution to my flooring problem. We have just had an extension done on the back of our house and knocked through 3 rooms to open it all up. The floor in the original kitchen is 10-15mm higher than the rest of the area and none of...
You've really answered your own question. If the room is dark (the floor doesnt help) then you are better off with light colours. There are hundreds of 'off whites' available nowadays. Personally my favourite is Grecian white (Dulux) but have a look at the dulux heritage colours there are...
If there is a big gap stick some bonding down the back and then interior filler on top of that once it's dry. Caulk is only any good for small gaps so dont load that in. Also, caulk is not sandable as previously mentioned so make sure it's neat if you use it.
Try Dulux Diamond Matt it's 10x tougher than ordinary matt emulsion. I have used it in school corridors and it stands up better than ordinary matt emulsion.
Dulux Diamond Eggshell preferably but any other acrylic eggshell is fine. You can use Diamond matt if theres not too much condensation. Personally l dont use oil based paint on bathroom walls as it cant breathe.
