i used a fault code reader and got them codes but dont know how to reset them thats all. i used it again after fixing a few probs but still getting same codes

i originaly bought the car as a project just for a bit of experience as im training to be a mechanic myself no didnt read it with engine running but i will do anyway so if i run it for about 30 mins will that reset the codes?
