Ello, had new fascia and gutter installed and there's now insufficient overhang causing a waterfall down side of house. Roofer suggesting eaves guard will resolve but just want to get some opinion on this. As can see from pic there's barely a cm overhang.

About to have external kitchen door bricked up and builder has advised rockwool roll between the breeze block and outer brick. Any advice on best value insulation? Its an old house with solid walls so no cavity insulation elsewhere but thinking this will help with damp proofing?

Youre right and there is a DPM under the rest of the floor so knocking out that part of the wall to accommodate the door has created a breach as far as I understand. My plan is to dig out and replace dpm there if I can. Again others suggest I can dig out a couple inches clear of where the wall...

Thanks for advice..No cracks at ground level that I can see but definitely in need of pointing so I'll take care of the bits I expose then hopefully tackle full removal later. It does seem to peel of at the bottom below DPC level so hopefully it's not concrete based‍♀️
