    Soil Pipe

Definitely iron! The problem, as I see it, is lack of any movement in the plastic - that's why I was wondering about a flexi. Would this slip coupling do it then, undertrained? Not seen one of them

    Soil Pipe

Hiya I've got a leak from where my vertical plastic soil pipe enters the cast iron section embedded in the floor. No movement in either. Can I cut a section of the plastic one out and use the flexible pan connector to join the 2 together? Or any other solution? Many thanks.

    Radiator Valve Reducers

Aaaaagh! My fault - just bought some trv sets with a 10mm reducer included, and my pipework is 8mm. Will the 10mm olive together with a decent wack of PTFE tape compress enough, or do I have to get a 15mm - 8mm reducer from somewhere? Many thanks

    4 gang light switch wiring

Thanks again Jackrae ...... what I'm intending to do is to really ditch this switch completely . There are only 2 lights that I want to still work wired from here, so I'm just wanting to be sure of which is the live feed going to this old switch to enable me to basically cut this one out by...

    4 gang light switch wiring

Hi Thanks for your reply. Yup - the only operating switch is the one that's one in from the right ; I inherited this - the others have never operated any lights in my time here. (There WERE masses of defunct wallup lights ).

    4 gang light switch wiring

Hi Firstly, I know there already IS a thread on here with this title, but reading it there seems to be an absolute multitude of possibilities! If possible I just want to identify the live feed for this switch - I'm intending to get rid of this one and replace with 'normal ' 1 way switches. I'd...

    Humidity Fan

Hi I've just got a Manrose Intervent humidity fan ((NVF100H ) to go into a drying room, no light . The wiring diagram shows a connection to 'switch live '.....but as I've got no switch, or light, presume I just connect the permanent live and neutral ? Dumb question maybe :( Thanks !

    Triple Light Switch

Thanks, Taylor2......you say " You will notice that each switch section is made of three terminals. Usually called COM, L1 and L2 (Let us know if your switch is different)" ...mine has 8 screw terminals, 4 on top, 4 on bottom. I'm no doubt being dim here but I'm presuming this makes it...

    Triple Light Switch

Aha..... UPDATE! It seems that the MIDDLE switch is a 2 way switch for the kitchen light so I fell at the first hurdle here; could this still be done though? I'd also want to 'unwire' this kitchen light from THIS switch if possible
