Hi All, can someone help please, i am wanting to wire up an outside socket for Christmas Lights and other items, inside i have a double socket which is situated approx 1ft from the outside wall, can i safely run a cable from this socket and wire a new socket on the outside, of course...

Hiya sparkwright, lazy isn`t the word i would use, anyway the cable has earth running through it and is pvc, i think they just thought i might never go in to my loft again.

Thanks for that info coljack, would it not be simpler for me to break in to a cable and use a junction box though?
