    Cable outdoors

Evening. I have an IP66 outdoor socket on the side of my house. To power a feature in the garden, i need to plug it in, but this will mean the cable is theoretically exposed to the public on public land, if i attach the cable to the side of my house, untill it gets to my perimitter fence where...

    Toilet Seat Fastner

Just moved into a new house and the toilet seat brackets appear to be held by rubber push on fastner things, and the seat keeps moving, do these rubber 'things' pull off to release the seat brackets? don't want to damage anything by trying to pull them off.

    Danfoss TP9000 Thermostat

Morning, having just moved into a new house, the time has come to try getting to grips with what seems to be a very over complicated central heating control. The hot water function is fine, as we just use the 'boost' button. But the heating....... where to start. Why might the heating/boiler...

    NPOWER Boiler Service

so would the above form be given to me if something was AR or ID? As I inderstand it, they should use the terms AR/ID/NCS, but did not, instead using the word FAIL? the boiler is pictured below, it is a Worcester cdi24 I think, and is located in the cellar, meaning the preasure relief valve...

    NPOWER Boiler Service

the cp6 I got after the service. I don't like how it is classed as unsafe to use though, because of NCS issues. every house in this area has the boiler in the cellar, and flue in same place. UPDATE- I rang NPOWER this morning as I wanted clarification, which surprisingly they gave me. There...

    NPOWER Boiler Service

Thanks. The solicitor asked for the documentation from when the boiler was last serviced in nov 2013. And i panicked because the final question on the cp6 that askes is the appliance safe to use, it says no. Even though it clearly isbecause no other action taken.
