We have a Potterton Performa 24 boiler which I'm guessing is about 12 or so years old. Recently we have noticed that if the hot water is on for an extended period of time (running a bath or a shower) then most of the radiators in the house start to warm up.

The old stop cock is not in service. I turned it on, it hissed for about 5 mins but there's no water there.
