    Taking up 1960s strip wood flooring, T&G and blind naile

    I need to lift some 1960s narrow strip flooring without damaging it as we'd like to re-use it. It's tongue & grooved and blind nailed but not glued. I've got some up, but so far unable to not rip the lower edge of the groove off the boards. Any tips?

    You say he's a joiner? :shock: I'd always remove skirting before fitting wood/laminate flooring if at all possible, gives a much better finish IMO.

    Hi, first post :) What's involved in moving a wall-mounted gas boiler say 10 feet into a new extension? (My assumption is that these have to be mounted on an external wall) I'm also considering moving the groundfloor toilet out from under the stairs, again about 10-12 feet. An idea of costs...
