hi got new pump today fitted and everything seems to be back to normal :lol: washer completes cycle haven't tried a drying cycle yet the old pump was well worn when you turned the impeller there was no resistance then slap unlike the new one also the new pump gushes water out...

hi all valves (solenoids) check on resistance as does the wiring continuity @cjapeterborough please dont let it be the control board cheaper to buy a new washer :lol: many thanks for the pointers

hi many thanks for the quick reply have checked all drain and sump pipes no blockage have ordered a pump (£10) to see if my pump is weak or intermittent (fingers crossed)

hi my bosch WVD24520 is playing up problems when put on a dry cycle the drum fills with water and I get the F18 error when put on a washing cycle it stops at the spin cycle and just turns slowly with 1 minute showing on the time left until you turn it of if you put it directly on...

cheers mate that might explain where the air in the system has been coming from

i have an ariston combi boiler in the installation manual once you have filled the system with water you are asked to undo the bleed valve on the pump in the boiler and run with the gas off to bleed the system. my question is do i leave this valve open or do i close it.
