Hi all Just went back (hour ago) in to look at the wires as suggested and took the pump out again. Found another piece of elesticated plastic wrapped around the rear of the impeller, removed it and ran a rinse cycle and it emptied. So fingers crossed it is fixed. Big thanks for your help. :P :)

Hi Leccy I am not confident enough to wire up the pump, so I will probably just buy a new one. I will start searching the net for best prices. Thanks for your help

I have a 3 year old Bosch Dishwasher, it will not drain after washing. I located a plastic strip around the pump impeller, removed it and it still wont empty the water. :(
