i have a vokera compact 28 about 18months old. last few weeks it has been locking out when heating and hot water were on together. watching it, it was locking out after it was trying to ignite after it had gone out on thermostat.
but now it also goes out on hot...

seems to be when heating and hot water is on. stays on for about an hour,
then locks out. i then reset with the dial on front of boiler. it strikes up ok then it goes out again.
every now and then it wont ignite after reset, and i keep reseting till it does ignite.

my vokera fires up ok, but after a while just locks out for no apparrent reason.
pressure sits at around 2 bar.
turned all thermostats to max.
is there is anything i can try to solve the problem?
any help would be gratefully recieved

i have a 5 ring twin oven diplomat cooker purchased about 2 year ago. the problem with it is, the cooling fan does never turn off any more even when cooker is cold. Any help would be gratefully received.

thanks for getting back to me. looked thru manual. there are 3 thermistors shown. which one would be the one i would need to change?
took out restrictor soon after boiler was fitted after advice from this forum.

i have a vokera compact 24 combi boiler. when i turn hot water tap on, boiler kicks in for a few secs then goes out again. this continues for the period of time the tap is turned on. hence the water goes warm the cold but never gets a chance...

i fit a lot of ceiling heating in new build medium secure buildings. in my experience the thermostats have to be turned up to maxium to try and draw the heat down in the rooms. for an average size room you need about 1kw of ceiling heating, less on smaller rooms. if you muliply that...
took out restrictor on inlet. rubber o ring seemed to have seeled against restrictor. removed o ring, fell apart in my hands. pressure is now better than i could of wished.

have not taken out restrictor yet. wanted advice first from people who know what there talking about. dont mind changing exchanger if thats what it definetly is
