Got to admit I have 2 combi's & gas hob running off a u6 meter, one combi for the house & one for a 4000gallon koi pond, works perfectly, even when they are all on at the same time :shock:

Got a Bargain with the boiler, brand new £150 on ebay so could not say no :lol: Ideal for the pond, jump leads incase it needs a kick start being Baxi :oops:

Those koi are around 26" - 30" long lol, pond is around 4200 gallon, Heat exchanger is 100,000 btu & boiler is 50,000 btu, also has a rad run off it. The boiler can raise the temp of the pond by 1c in about 30 mins john

When the pond is heated the koi are active & fed all year round

There will be a large screw on top of the pump, unscrew it, dont worry, there will only be a small amount of water coming out & hopefully air, if you are feeling confident you can undo the nuts (22mm) either side of the pump (one at a time & not fully off the valve), this will release the air...
