    Thanks to all. I just got round to what corgigazza suggested, using an o-ring and silicon grease and the problem has been solved. No more drips!!!! Thanks again for everyones posts!! :wink:

    Whenever we use the grill on our cooker the igniter keeps clicking continuously, if you shut the door then it stops but the grill only works if the door is open. Any suggestions !! Thanks :)

    I would have thought it better not to bring one wire down from upstairs and to keep downstairs seperate, just for the reason that if you have the whole of downstairs except one socket on one ring, and you remove the fuse or mcb for the new downstairs ring would it not be easy to forget that one...

    the fused switch is a break in the mains, so does the hob fan already count as a spur?? eg. say i used a single socket instead of the fused switch and plugged in the hob fan i believe i am still able to spur from the socket ( using it as a juction box, can i not do the same with a fused switch :?:
