The windows would have had condensation as there was an olg fire but now there is a big radiator in the room.
What you say about the wooden sill sounds right i dont think the tiles go underneath and the inside sill does not go to outside. There is another set of windows above which are fine...
i have put the photos up under albulm windows that are inside and top and bottom of outside. I have had wooden sash windows before and don't know about these windows at all.
There is a leak in the corners under a run of plastic windows. There is a sill made out of tiles over brick underneath.

Help I am doing up a 1920s house which has had plastic windows fitted in the front. The windows are leaking below at the corners and I cant see outside how the water is coming in.
