No - it's not a joke - I'm just asking for some info/advice on this boiler/cylinder.

When engineer last out this got knocked out and although he put it back in it looks to me like the cylinder is overheating - the insulation is puckering/melting a bit.... thoughts?

Hi Can somebody explain the function of the thermistor on the unvented cylinder on this model and what symptoms would be seen if this fell out or had failed? many thanks!

In case anybody has this problem in the future turns out that the CH expansion tank had lost its charge.... I wonder if there was other water noise caused was the immersion circuit on the cylinder traying to keep the water in there at a fixed temperature when the the boiler wasn't firing for...

Anyone?
