Why is it that my kettle has suddenly started to trip the fuse everytime it is turned on - It is a cordless kettle with a corded base - I have tried pluging it into a different socket & the same thing happens - All the sockets go dead, & have to be turned back on at the main fuse box...

Yes 3 black wires were wired into a clear plastic cube type block, like a link terminal but I think one of the wires was loose. I have taken a photo of it for you but don't know how to upload it!!! Soemthing else I dont know how to do (ha ha)

It is a Vintage style Repro light which I really like & don't really want to change - I have seen loads of floodlights with motion sensors but they don't appeal to me at all
