Hi,
I need to replace the sealant/putty around my door frame before repainting it. But I'm having trouble working out what it's called and therefore having limited success with google.
I've attached two photos, it has a sandy texture and is about an inch thick across the back two...
For the purpose of strict adherence to the regulations, would you consider a junction box to be accessible if it was at the end of a 6m crawl under the eves? The space is partially boarded and access is via a door/hatch if that makes a difference.

Thanks for your answers.
I've now measured the twin and earth and I get 13.4mm by 7.3mm. Using this table //www.diynot.com/wiki/electrics:cable_types:flatpvccables is it reasonable to assume that it's 6mm^2?

And would this have any consequences for getting an electrician to change the CU? i.e. if it was wired with 4mm^2 would this need to be replaced?
Quick question, in an EICR, what code would the following attract
An 8.5kW shower fed by a 6mm^2 clipped to the cellar joists/wall and imbedded in the external wall protected by a 32A MCB (no RCD)
The same setup but with 4mm^2 twin and earth instead of 6mm^2?
Thanks in advance
