    Thanks guys for your help, i managed to get the flexi pipes off and just got to now reconnect them to the new mixer ive put on. Hardest thing is its soo tight behind the sink, and had to fit the new plunger thing as well. used my thumbs in the end to get the pipes off much appreciated...

    ah so you have to push the bit at the end of the connector back towards the pipe to release the connection? when you put it back on do you have to pull it back down again to make it stay connected? cheers

    fantastic, that worked, wiring up the 2 gang switch, so i know the lights are ok, it musta been the LV dimmer making them buzz and flicker slightly, So i just need to find out about this trailing edge thing, and why my LV dimmer switch made them hum so much appreciate the help so far

    can i confirm then L is the common terminal and i can wire it the same as the dimmer is wired also this thing about leading edge dimmers, is it the same as a normal LV dimmer, cos mine with a normal LV dimmer hums like a year old nappy

    how much storage weight can a loft take

    Interesting debate, as i think this affects nearly every house owner, and we all like storage space. Ive still not found any news / evidence of structural damged recorded from overloading a loft space. There must be people who have.
