    Maximum earth fault loop impedance for a BS1362 fuse

    I was told by an NICEIC inspector to add it to a minor works cert for a fused spur supplying a spa bath. He said not only to mention the 32A ring breaker Zs but also to split the box and add the spec for the 3A fuse as well. What do you reckon?

    Could someone please tell me the maximum earth fault loop impedance for a BS1362 3A fuse or where I can find the info. I need both 5sec and 0.4 sec disconnection times. The 13A spec is in the regs but not the 3A.

    No it won't save you any money as the power which doesn't go through the lights is used across the resistance of the dimmer switch.
