Just run some sentinel X300 through my system after having new radiators.
When I drain it off do I need to drain the hot water cylinder side too or will that side just dilute as the system refills before adding X100
Thanks
I realise the bit about dead legs from radiators was common sense, they could surely be used. I'll just fit full flow valves to them with hozelock connectors screwed on.
Any advice on capping or joining the f&e during flushing would be appreciated though.
Thanks.
Reading others advice do I also need to join the feed and expansion pipes?
Is it OK to use pushfit flexi hoses for this, I don't know if the rubber inner in a stainless braid or white thread flexi is OK for CH or just for domestic hot and cold.
There is a full flow gate valve in the feed...
In another post I was told to isolate the boiler and do a full flow flush.
I have the pipes where a rad once hung, will these be OK for the flush if I swap the caps for valves?
Would this be OK to just screw hozelock fittings on and attach hosepipes then.
To isolate the boiler I...
I have a pair of disused tails/standpipes whatever capped off in the airing cupboard. Looks as though there was a rad in there once. Would that do as a flushing point?
It's a bungalow so no upstairs downstairs issues.

Not that kind of bleed boss. It's a welded in one and the only thing that scews is the actual bleed screw. It's the second or third on the system depending how the sub floor pipework goes but it's still hot at the top so I would guess it didn't drain either.

Thanks. Room is...
Bleeding my rads the other day after drain and flush and there is a sheered bleed screw on the front panel of a double, the type with bleeds on the back not the side.
This was done before I bought the house, (really - not a my mate is actually me, myself and I story) but it's now my problem to...
