This morning power steering suddenly fine. Does this mean power steering pump ok? It hadn't been working for the previous 10 days. Anyone any idea what's going on? Not sure whether to leave well alone or change pump anyway.

Thanks for your reply. The car has leaked since we bought it. I will have a look to check seals though.

Got our Espace at Auction. Found it was leaking in . Water can be nearly 1 inch deep in front passenger footwell. It seems to come in from behind the dashboard. Tried hosepipe on it for 2 hours still can't work out how its getting in? Help!!! We've had the car 4 years and want to sell it!

Thanks for your help Joe 90. Found a second-hand hydraulic pump for £60 plus VAT with 3 months warranty. How easy would it be to fit this myself?

Belt is OK. The hydraulic pump is covered in hydraulic fluid. Do you think this needs replacing?

Our Renault Espace power steering isn't working. Hydraulic fluid levels OK. Any ideas?
