I saw that you posted comments about replacing your Powermax 155x about a year ago. I am having to do the same and have the same problem with the location of the boiler (in a cupboard) and the twin aluminium flues.
Wonder if you could let me know what boiler you finally replaced it with and how you overcame the flue issue. an indication of costs would be helpful too.
