Problems with replacing electric shower unit

Replacing a Triton Jade which has a inlet pipe which is not hidden - just goes up the bottom of unit and attached to wall. Looked in B&Q and saw no units where inlet pipe is like this. None of them had inlet hole - just hole for shower hose. Call me stupid as ones in B&Q on box said inlet...

When you say 'isolating the electrics and water' do you just mean turning off the mains switch and mains water? Cheers Rich

steel bath - getting rid of question

Getting rid of steel bath which weighs a ton - also old style taps. Has a few chips but is it worth any money? Done my back in lifting it out so do you think someone would take it away for free or can I ask for £20 for it as scrap metal? Cheers for any advice. Rich

length of trap for bath in flat - ngle soil stack

Fitted a new bath and the trap I bought looked the same size as the one I cut out. From plumbase I got an SC10 - for some reason I had it in my head to ask for a 60mm depth one - on reading my DIY book again the bath trap should be 75mm for legal reasons. Is what I bought ok? Cheers Rich

advice on fitting suite - picture

Want to attempt to fit suite and have taken some pics - some questions are on the pics. I do not think I can use flexible compression on the bath taps as not much of a gap - but please have a look. Any advice really appreciated...

    advice needed - better pic

The overall diagram attempts to illustrate the various cabling within the ceiling rose. The bit at the top covers other cable terminals within the rose independent of the lower teminal block which provides connections to the existing light. The "test" was done with a proprietary test probe...
