Bathroom LED spotlights behaving erratically - driver problem?

Update for completeness, for anyone coming across this thread in future - I replaced the driver and everything now working fine. 30 minute job (would have been a 5-minute job were it not for needing to operate in a barely-accessible loft space and deal with some badly-wired junction boxes).

Bathroom LED spotlights behaving erratically - driver problem?

No dimmer. I'll swap out the driver and hopefully job done. Will come back and update the thread afterwards, if only because it annoys me when people don't report back whether a suggestion worked or not! Thanks TTC and Matlob.

Bathroom LED spotlights behaving erratically - driver problem?

Yes they had been working fine for 7-8 years until recently. 4x 12v 5W MR16 bulbs wired in parallel (from memory!), 30W LED driver constant voltage.

Bathroom LED spotlights behaving erratically - driver problem?

Thanks - I hadn't considered that, definitely should have gone with those originally in hindsight. Is there anything other than the driver that could be causing the problems? If not then I'll probably just replace the driver for now, as it will be cheaper and easier than replacing all the...

Bathroom LED spotlights behaving erratically - driver problem?

Hi all - I have a problem with the LED spotlights in my bathroom, looking for some confirmation on likely cause before I go crawling into the tight loft space above (in case I don't have to!). There are 4x LED spotlights in the bathroom, all 12v connected to a single driver. All 4 are...

A few crumbling bricks - what to do?

Thanks noseall/woody - is this an easy enough job for a novice (but fairly practical) DIYer? And can you suggest where I could get hold of bricks that will fit (colour and size - I don't think modern bricks are in match in either department)? Thanks, R

Best short-term fix for drafty back door?

Hi, We have a wooden back door ("stable door" type - i.e. top and bottom halves can open independently), which is significantly warped and hence very drafty. We are planning a rear extension in the next 12-24 months which would remove the wall in which the door sits, so I am looking for a...

A few crumbling bricks - what to do?

Hi, Appreciate any advice on this. Recently moved into a Victorian (1900) detached house having spend my previous adult years in new-build flats, hence slowly learning as I go... We have a few crumbling bricks on the outside of our house - mostly on the right and left sides of the house...

Rotten smell from drains (only when window is open)

Nige - thanks a lot for the advice. Have tried the bleach and Jeyes fluid solution and it seems to be working so far (strong rotten egg smell has gone, replaced with a mild Jeyes fluid smell :) - will keep an eye/nose on it). Will tackle the manhole in the near future - want to get rid of...

Rotten smell from drains (only when window is open)

Hi Lower, Andy - thanks for replying. There are two waste pipes draining down into the ground - the one from the toilet is vented at the top about 2m above and 30cm left of the window. The other drain pipe begins about 1m below and just to right of the window, which the two outlet pipes...

Rotten smell from drains (only when window is open)

Hi, First time poster - read a few similar threads but not found one quite the same... The sink and bath in our first-floor bathroom both drain into the same pipe (which is on the wall outside the house), which runs to the drainage. There is a horrible smell (like rotten eggs) which comes...
