thanks for the reply the supply comes from a box near the pond and is encased in black tubing. it does not visibly run out of the garage to the house at all ?

got a friend of a friend, he changed the pump but then discovered it was the switch! got one on order now the trick with the pen worked house is toasty now! thanks a million

thanks Chris Followed instructions, controller keeps sliding down so had to put a pen under it to hold it on manual, dont know if it will work but im froze!!
