Thanks for all the suggestions so far... I'm being guided towards a Rehema Avanta 39c ..largely because of the stainless internals and the good DHW rate. Anyone got experience of these, reliable or not?. I've also been advised that Rehema can be difficult over warranty issues.. any truth in this?
Having had five service calls to my ailing Halstead Ace High without as much as a diagnosis I'm considering replacing it with a modern A rated condensing boiler. Without breaking the bank what is considered a good one? I need something in the 24kw 10+ litre a minute range.

Hi thanks for the reply. Halstead gave me the number of the boiler engineer who has serviced it for a couple of years now. I've no idea what testing has been done as 'er in doors has been home while the engineer is there. I'm in one of the villages close to Poole if Kevin is up for it :D
