    Hi, its an old trick but certainly works for my Grandma, she has a 2litre bottle of water on the lawn, or in the spot where the cat is most likely to go, it has worked for my Grandma for a very long time, no cats ever come near her garden.

    Well, thankfully, my foxes seem to have gone, they only stayed for a couple of days this year, last year they were in my garden for a couple of months. I've been taking my cat on boxing lessons so maybe that worked...

    orange wax stain on white tile floor...HELP!

    Get a brown paper bag, place it over the wax and then lightly iron, hopefully, what should happen is that the wax will melt and the brown paper will absorb it. I have tried this on carpet and it worked amazingly well, good luck!

    Other halves tend to think that partners are going mad, I'm afraid it seems to like your a lost cause!! But you could come for a consultation but I do charge, and even a uniform could be arranged - for you that is.

    One has to do what one can! Mother-in-laws are hard to break down, especially when there son is so 'precious'. I'm sure she wouldn't think that is she could see the mess he is making of plastering our front room! :twisted:

    Plastering Help

    Hi all, we had a damp proof course done in our front room a few weeks ago and, to cut a very long story short, we had two plasterers let us down so my husband has decided to embark on this job himself. This is of course much to my disgust!! Any tips?

    Hi all, does anybody know of any decent plant suppliers that will supply to the Manchester/Cheshire area. I've tried Gardening Direct and just ordered a Bakker catalogue but my mother in law is looking for a supplier of Camelia (hope I have spelt that right!!).
