    It's likely to be tripping on overheat, yes. if the the reset button is clearly visible then u probably have an "unconverted" model. new T1 thermostat required.

    In the bedroom today fitting new doors til 1930 (it was dark), but everytime we were banging away with the chisel and hammer the lights would flicker on and off???? Strange, any answer to this mysterious occurrence. One light actually went off completely. Thanks again for any responses.

    I have like a glazed like wallpaper covering in the bedroom, a very subtle gold colour. I am going to paint over it. The colour I am having is Fairway Mist, like a very light green. I intend to prime the paper with an oil based primer, perhaps 2x coats? Sorry if this sounds like a silly...

    About 10mins ago, my central heating control unit - my heating was on at the time - starting making a vigorous clicking noise. Went to investigate, tried switching to off position, unit not responding just continues to make clicking noise. Heating still on, pilot light on etc. I just can't...
