Brilliant. Thanks everyone. Yes, I think I'll just 'wing it' and not pay heed to the instructions.
Definitely not my eyesight, foxhole. But a typo sounds likely given how useless the rest of the instructions are!
(I feel a bit pathetic asking this on a DIY forum but I asked Dunelm Customer Service and they weren't particularly helpful. So...)
I recently purchased a Dunelm Roller Blind and am trying to cut it down to size. Unfortunately, the instructions provided are very confusing and I was wondering...
Sadly not. I contacted Worcester Bosch about it and this was their response:
From what I gather, that is going to be quite expensive, so we're going to hold off until we get it serviced later in the year.
Annoying, isn't it?
We've recently had a pair of pine glazed doors installed (these ones: https://www.howdens.com/doors-joinery-collection/internal-doors/internal-softwood-doors/sa-clear-pine-glazed/)
Though we're fairly happy with the appearance of them, one of the doors has unfortunately warped quite a bit...
Just returning to this thread once again.
We're still having trouble with our noisy radiator (clunks loudly periodically while it heats up). We've had the TRV replaced, which doesn't seem to have made any difference. I've tried wedging a bit of rag behind the brackets to reduce any movement...
Great, thanks.
I read somewhere that Danish Oil on pine will reallybring out the yellow of the wood. I'm now wondering whether a specific Oak-coloured stain/varnish would better match our oak staircase... Any advice?
This is hopefully an easy question but I've struggled to find an answer so far!
We've recently had some interior pine doors fitted from Howdens. These ones:

We're very happy...
Hi, this is a bit of a longshot three years later but did OP ever solve the problem? Did the advice here work?
We have the same problem but instead of a clunk it was more a series of tapping after demand.
Our plumber, who was initially stumped, tried turning off the bypass in the boiler...
Really? Should it switch on and off with the hot tap then?
It's always done that, I just assumed it was the way it was meant to be.
Thing is, this noise occurs when the boiler comes on (and goes off) in the middle of the night (to pre-heat water, I believe), when no taps have been opened.
No need to be like that, Jeff.
I wasn't expecting a definitive answer. I was merely trying to solicit advice and, where possible, provide clarification.
I'm sorry I haven't laced my posts with the requisite amount of praise but, rest assured, I'm extremely grateful for all of the comments...
No, it shuts down when I finish drawing the hot water.
So I'll run the hot tap, the boiler will kick in... I stop the hot tap, and maybe 30 seconds later the boiler shuts off too.
It isn't shutting off incorrectly.
Wouldn't that result in the boiler cutting out though? Bear in mind, this noise only occurs as the boiler is shutting down.
(he says, speaking from absolutely no experience whatsoever!)
