Hi all.
I'm a bit confused as I have read that SPC does not expand and does not need to acclimatise due to it being stone/plastic composite rather than wood/plastic composite. However, on searching installation they all seem to say to acclimatise and leave an expansion gap? Can anyone explain...
Thanks John,
The hire company has swapped it out and all good so far. Just couldn't figure out if it was me having 2 with the same problem. Its just taken 4 days to do a 1 day job.
Thanks to everyone who replied. Much appreciated.
Is that a Comon fault? Just thought it was strange getting 2 with the same problem. The first worked for a couple of hrs. The second one came like that.
They said get the driver to show me.. The drivers don't have any clue. They would not send anyone out. I had no problem initially so don't think I did anything wrong considering the 2nd one came doing the same ♂️
Hi.
I have hired a wacker plate out. Initially it was working but then started vibrating less and stopped moving forward. Tried again a few times, might get a few feet or nowhere.
I had an exchange this morning and it's doing exactly the same. Am I doing something wrong or is it a common fault...
I'm connecting up 2 single ovens onto the existing cooker circuit. Rather than getting a dual outlet plate connector and then seperate switches I want to purchase a 2 gang with 2 switches so I can simply connect the existing 6mm cable to a double cooker switch and then 2.5mm cable to each...
Looking on zanussi website it says microwave is total electricity loading is 2000w and then says required fuse 16amp
The oven says total loading is 3480w
But doesn't state required fuse
I'm wondering if I've read it wrong and it's referring to it having its own 16amp internal fuse.
The microwave is this
Zanussi ZKG44500XA
The oven is this
Zanussi ZOP38903XD
So you think it is acceptable just to run 2.5mm t&e from each of the 2 appliances direct to cooker switch and then 6mm t&e to the 32 amp mcb on mains unit?
Thanks
Thanks for all the replies. I only picked the microwave up yesterday and checked.. it does state it should be fused with a 16 amp. The oven doesn't stipulate.. so I assume it would be best that they are run off individual 16 amp breakers.
So the 32amp mcb from main consumer unit has 6mm t&e to...
Thanks for the replies. Yes the microwave will be directlying above the oven. There is an existing circuit there from a previous oven that was installed that is protected by 32 amp mcb. Thats the one I want to use.
The current draw for each unit is 16amp.. I will have to check if the...
Hi all. Ive just purchased two new appliances by zanussi. A single pyro oven and a built in combination microwave. Both state they require 16 amp.
I have only one 32 amp mcb on consumer unit that I can use with no extra spaces. Can I run a 6mm T and E from the mcb on main unit and connect a 2...
